It doesn’t only sound simple - IT IS!
Imagine this:

Five years later, you meet your cousin at a family gathering. The room is filled with laughter and familiar faces as she approaches you with a playful smile.

"Do you remember that camping trip we took five years ago?" she begins, her eyes twinkling with mischief. You nod, but inside, you feel a pang of confusion. The memories are hazy at best, and the details escape you entirely.

"Remember when we decided to build that massive firepit? We had no idea what we were doing!" she chuckles. "We collected all these branches and logs, but it turned into a huge mess. Then, someone got the idea to throw in those giant pinecones. You should have seen the flames—it was like a scene from a movie!"

You try to picture it but can't find a single thread of recollection. "And then there was the raccoon!" she adds, barely containing her laughter. "We had all our snacks outside, and it just came out of nowhere, rummaging through everything. You were the one who scared it off by throwing a marshmallow at it!"

The laughter around you grows as she recounts the chaos. Why can't you remember any of this?
