From Our Family to Yours
We’re Robert and Justina Perez—a husband-and-wife photography team based in Fort Collins, Colorado.
We have three children: Khaldoun, who is 16; Robert, who is 6; and Eliana, who is 3. Our home is busy, loud, faith-filled, and rarely predictable.
Our youngest daughter, Eliana, has special needs and a full schedule of therapies, medical appointments, and care. As her needs grew, photography became quieter for a season because our family needed more of us. We didn’t stop loving this work. We simply became more thoughtful about when, where, and how we do it.
Today, we intentionally accept the sessions and weddings we know we can serve well. Photography gives us the flexibility to care for our family while continuing to do work that keeps us creative, connected, and present in other people’s lives.
Our faith in the Lord shapes how we treat people—with patience, honesty, kindness, and care. We believe the families who come into our lives are there for a reason, and we never want your experience with us to feel rushed or transactional.
What It’s Like to Work With Us
One of us will lead your session or wedding. Depending on the date and what you are planning, that may be Robert or Justina. For larger celebrations, we may photograph together.
No matter who is behind the camera, we plan the experience together, and Justina personally edits every final gallery so the photographs maintain the same warm, natural look.
Robert is naturally funny and has a way of making people relax quickly. Justina notices the small interactions, shifting emotions, and details that can easily be missed. We have different personalities, but we share the same approach: give people enough guidance to feel confident without forcing them into poses that don’t feel like them.
We will take the beautiful, everyone-looking-at-the-camera photographs your family will want to frame. But we won’t spend your entire session asking everyone to stand still and smile.
We’ll have you walk, move, play, talk, pull your children close, and interact with the people you love. That is usually when the photographs begin to feel like your family instead of simply photographs of your family.
We also understand that children don’t always perform on command. Some need movement, extra time, sensory breaks, snacks, or a completely different approach than we originally planned. You never need to apologize to us for how your child communicates, moves, responds, or experiences the session. We will adjust.
Our own family has taught us that connection does not always look the way people expect—and it is still worth documenting.
Where We Photograph
We photograph families, couples, proposals, weddings, and other important seasons of life throughout Fort Collins, Northern Colorado, and the greater Denver area.
We are also available for select travel sessions and weddings. Travel is more intentional for us now, but it is absolutely still possible. We especially love traveling for proposals, intimate weddings, and family sessions connected to a place that carries real meaning.
